No changes in core goals.
Lots of changes under the surface to enhance robust operation:
- Lower intermediate service level dependencies for Hostfurl (now using dedicated servers)
- Improved backups, including secure offsite backups
- Efficiency improvements in various servers
- More immediate reserve capacity
- Additional capacity can be spun up more quickly using additional dedicated servers in the same or different datacentres.
Using dedicated servers for hosting and virtualising ourselves means we know better what we get, can plan better accordingly and can make changes more easily.
